#savekedah Prolog - Ilusi Kedah Sejahtera #TolakPR

Ever since pakatan took over Kedah in 2008, they have lived the life of their slogan called "Kedah Sejahtera"...and so far they have not woken up yet. The "Kedah Sejahtera" is a myth and it is currently being broken as truth is being revealed. Here is a prologue, or a short introduction to the up-coming video, which also goes to remind pas Kedah that those who they claimed to have been dead and buried, have returned

Azizan vs Dato Rasli - If Only pas Can Learn

What's with the Kedah MB Azizan nowadays? He was battling for life previously and now he is out to severe the life-line of the Kedah State Secretary, Dato Paduka Rasli Basir. All of this, purportedly over the decision of Dato Rasli to transfer the district officer Ahmad Fisol Md Nor) from Kubang Pasu to Kuala Muda. As the DO of Kubang Pasu, Ahmad Fisol is automatically the chairman of Kubang Pasu District Council.

I guess this goes more to show who pas Kedah is all about. The Audit Report 2011 has proven Azizan and pas Kedah's complete incompetence in decision-making and running of state affairs...of course, I could not find anything in state constitution that allows a state government to be impeached by reasons of stupidity.

The Kedah Civil Service has always been steeped in history, as Kedah being an Unfederated Malay State. Before independence, the top position for civil service is the Menteri Besar, which comes after State Secretary. That means that all the MBs of Kedah before independence were officers who were promoted from their State Secretary position. Today, the State Secretary of Kedah is the head of the Administration where he is chosen by PAC and appointed by DYMM the Sultan of Kedah. His Highness the Sultan has the right to extend, by contract, the tenure of the State Secretary even when he has reached his mandatory age for retirement. The true power in running Kedah lie in the hands of the Sultan and his State Secretary, especially on election days where there is no MB or his excos, or during emergency situations when MB and his excos are stripped of power because whatever happens, the government must go on working. On this note, we understand why dap desperately wanted this position so much.

District Officer, and other officers of the state, either based on review and performance or necessity, will be transfered to other locations. These are considered by several factors. It can be over performance, the need for experience, the other district's need for a more experienced officer and to keep the job fresh. An officer must stay fresh and alert and never to get too comfortable with his position. This is done every 3 years or so. Look at Dato Rasli's resume alone: he has been to many places, Kuala Muda, Pokok Sena, Langkawi, Bandar Baru and other places. He is truly a civil servant who paid his dues. These are the experiences that he gathered which later qualified him to finally be elevated to the State Secretary position.

There might be complaints of having to be away from their family when transfered to new districts. In the past, the state government provided quarters and allowances to these officers as to lend comfort. Today, the quarters are still available, or the option to take allowances if they decide to rent. With the availability of highways, travel allowances are also opted should the officer decide to travel daily.

Ahmad Fisol might seem to have his reasons to grouch. I do not know whether it is true or not, but the pas supporters I met were adamant that Ahmad Fisol was transfered as he is politically involved with pas Kubang Pasu and the transfer might just hurt his chance to be nominated to contest for either DUN or Parliamentary seat for pas. Like I said, I don't know any verification to that.

Despite what pas says, or thinks, they have the right to nominate council members, but the position of Council Chairman is assumed automatically by the District Officer, and once he is transfered, his or her successor will assume the chairmanship. In short, Ahmad Fisol was wrong to bring up the issue of his transfer into the district council meeting.

They can create demos all they want, but DYMM Sultan Kedah extended Dato Rasli's tenure not once, but twice. Bear in mind it is not easy to get an extension on this type of position. So, pas, do the math.

Is it so intimidating for azizan that Dato Rasli is more friendly with phahrolrazi, who tried to launch a coup on the MB position last time that Dato Rasli must be eliminated? The State Secretary's service is for the state, not for the MB, and maybe that irks Azizan so much. Azizan has always been known the diva who "what azizan wants, azizan gets" like the legendary divas like Greta Garbo, Bette Davis and even Lauren Bacall. If he doesn't get what he wants or have things his way, then there will be a tirade of expletives booming from the MB's office, which actually explains why azizan's blood pressure and heart problem keeps getting worse. Now the State Secretary, as mentioned before, is not a political figure, so he has the right to rebut whatever proposals or suggestions put forward by the MB, on the basis of practicality and necessity of the state. There was an instance in the past where an MB proposed to introduce a new water treatment to make the water higher in taste and quality and for that, raise the rates, but opposed by the State Secretary as his studies showed that only 20% of the water in Kedah is used for drinking while the rest in for agriculture, industrial and other commercial use. The proposal was dropped in the end. In short, he/she also stand as the check and balance between the executive and the administration.

Azizan must realize that he is elected and appointed as the Menteri Besar, and took an oath to uphold the constitution, in which spell out the duties and powers of each branch. Launching a war to get his own people, whose service is only to him and pas, is a clear breach of his own oath. If anybody should resign, it should be the warped azizan. There are times I cannot decide whether his decisions are made by him in a clear mind, or under the influence of his blood-pressure drugs.

Maybe in one angle, perhaps we can try to understand azizan. His position as MB has always been like him: fragile and brittle. With azizan being surrounded by those who keep their eyes on his seat like the brainless mahfuz, the scheming phahrolrazi and the usurping amiruddin, safe be said, azizan's paranoia has been increasing ever since. He did manage to bar the womanizing mat sabu from contesting anywhere in Kedah by stating that pas Kedah will never accept candidates from out of state.

To those people who were sponsored to demo against the present State Secretary, we would suggest you take some time to read the state constitution, the duties and powers of each branch of the state government and the powers that the State Secretary has and then decide. Instead of asking the pas political figures, they can ask former state secretaries, state officers or/and even the State Legal Officer on the legality of the trasfer instead of using their one blind eye. After all, as Muslims, we are always encouraged to never stop learning. Also, I think the State Secretary and the State Government have a lot of work to do rather than waste their time in going against or answering people who refuse to learn and prefer to follow emotional pas leaders.

Instead of whining and stomping his feet like a spoilt brat, azizan should take time to answer to Kedahans on the horrifyingly abysmal performance of his state governance as shown in the Kedah Audit Report. He should give us answers on why we have new debts from bad investments and mismanagement. What happened to the excess income of RM20m that the state used to enjoy, and why did it go down all the way to RM2m? Is that the reason why the MB unleashed MBAS to scourge around issuing summonses anywhere Malay Muslim traders are? Of course, I'm sure if you tell them to stroll around the non-Malay areas such as Market koboi, Simpang Kuala and even Jalan Putra, you can make more with all those unlicensed vendors, but then again, azizan is afraid of dap with the elections coming near.

I am still wondering why azizan and pas Kedah concentrated on doing business elsewhere, spending Kedahans money, losing them, created debts and leaving Kedah's infrastructure in shambles.

There are rumours that azizan's strong desire to demolish the Madrasah Salihiah and use the waqf land as a sewage treatment plant of a shopping complex resulted in the elevation of his disease and his paranoia. I don't know, but maybe it's time for him to cease that activity and devote his time for redemption, and leave the Administrative branch alone before you and your goons do more damage.

Madrasah Salihiah - What's With Azizan's Over Enthusiasm?

Does anybody know what is up with mb azizan? There has been so many voices of concerns about him, mostly even from pas members. I mean, here we are, at an age and health where so many devote so much of their time in prayers and repentence...well, unless if you are one of the yellow-wearing, yellow bellied anwar supporters...and here we have azizan adamant about tearing down the 100 plus year old Madrasah Salihiah and have Sony Ho transform the Waqf land which was meant for Islamic religious activities into a shopping center. Even azizan's stanchest supporters have kept themselves quiet, too afraid if they are asked.

In a time, since 2008, when many developers from Kedah complaint that the state government is not promoting property development, it was a shocking move when azizan decided to create a joint venture, PKNK with a Penang-based company, Belleview overnight, to develop several chunks of prime state lands, making it one of the most massive property development in Alor Setar in years. As can be seen in the image below, the areas lined in yellow are the areas which are to be developed by Belleview. It is easy to recognize the areas: they are gated with zinc gates with the name of Belleview and ABAI spray-painted on many parts of them.

The blue square is where Madrasah Salihiah is located. Looking at the size of the development to be done by PKNK-Belleview, what is it about the Waqf land where the Madrasah Salihiah stands that azizan and sony ho feverishly wanted to take so much?

Alor Setar, and in fact, the whole state of Kedah has no shortage of developers, but many of them question of deciding on Sony Ho over them. Perhaps azizan finds Kedah developers too much of a small fry.

Many Kedahans wonder why it was so important for azizan to get rid of the surau and is it so important to have a shopping complex built over a Waqf land? We have seen pas, through their misguided exco and spin-dogs try their best to tarnish the image of the surau, such as, it's an insurance office, no jama'ah has ever been conducted there, the surau is not proper etc etc, but they failed miserably to dispute the fact that the Waqf land status remain as it has always been, no matter how much dirt they try to pile on. I mean, this is not a pas headquarters where filth sticks around all the time, this is a Waqf land.

Perhaps it is just azizan trying to have his way as usual? Azizan has always been known to be hard-headed in doing things his way. It's always his way or no way at all. It has never been a secret that the Kedah exco members loathe their own MB: they usually make themselves scarce after exco meetings and any functions that require their presence with azizan. In fact, it has been a weekly gag of Wisma Darulaman staffs betting amongst themselves on "sapa kena tembak" (who got screamed at) during the exco meeting of the day. Phahrolrazi and Amiruddin have been the only two exco members loyal and thick-skinned enough to withstand azizan's choleric tantrum. Then again, many have heard phahrolrazi and amiruddin complaining as, to azizan, his words are the law, no questions asked. He will not listen to your advice, only his own. If you question his decision/advice/ruling, be prepared for the biggest, skin-peeling, sweat squeezing, stomach turning dressing down ever. You think his outburst during the post Banjir Kedah 2010 was bad? Wait till join his exco. Well, on this, we must say that at least Kedah did not end up like Perak's pakatan government where you have Nga and Ngeh of DAP playing power through their dummy from pas, nizar.

But really, why would somebody like azizan  get so engrossed and striving so hard to demolish Madrasah Salihiah? We understand that Azizan's many decisions have earned the ire of fellow pakatan members. In fact, anwar spent so much time conspiring to get rid of azizan ever since day one of his MB tenureship. His lack of priority of giving million-dollar projects to fellow pakatan members have resulted in many quarters chanting about digging azizan's grave, his defence on the College and University Act almost destroyed pas Kedah from within. This time, however, on his obsession to demolish Madrasah Salihiah, pas quietly follows behind him. Of course, to some people, it is obvious why.

With that much enthusiasm, especially with the statement saying that the demolition might be done even while the courts are still discussing about it, azizan sounds like he'll be in the front row, cheering and clapping while watching the surau being demolished on the Waqf land.

Jawatankuasa Pemandu : Driving Kedah To Utter Confusion

Much has been said about this Jawatankuasa Pemandu which was suggested by phahrolrazi's zionist-loving pakatan group. It has always been anwar's dream to have any pakatan state obey and adhere to anything that he says and supports him in any wrong-doings. With this Jawatankuasa Pemandu, his dreams move a step closer with phahrolrazi as his dummy.

Pas' offcial schwarz-schtick, mahfuz was quoted in Sinar  as saying that the MB's power will not be usurped in any way. This is because the Jawatankuasa Pemandu is appointed to advice the leaders and not in the matters of administration...really. Seriously, can pas, next time, send somebody with an IQ of more than 25 to make statements? I could almost swear my cat committed suicide the moment mahfuz said that.

So, the Pemandu Committee does not usurp the MB's power? Let's see, contrary to mahfuz' statement, on March 5th Phahrolrazi was quoted as saying that (full article, click here )

“Yang paling penting matlamat kami tercapai iaitu inginkan perubahan dalam corak pentadbiran negeri, di mana kuasa bukan lagi dominan pada Menteri Besar dan mesyuarat Exco semata-mata. Kini, jika ada pandangan berbeza, boleh dirujuk pada jawatankuasa ini,”
(What is most important is that our objectives are achieved which is to see a change in the pattern of state administration, where power will not be dominated by the Menteri Besar and the Exco exclusively. Now, should there be any difference in opinion, it can be referred to this committee)

For a chap who claims to be a professional like phahrolrazi, ignorance and anwar must've blinded him. The constitution recognizes the Menteri Besar as the state leader, and his power over the running of the state administration is in his hands. Executive decisions are made by him and his exco. The majority in the exco over-rides the minority, and if phahrolrazi does not agree on something but the majority of the exco does, then know your role and shut your mouth. You are running a state and there's no time for you to run and cry to your mama just because other exco members do not support you.

Where will the Jawatankuasa Pemandu be placed in the constitution?

The Menteri Besar is appointed by The Sultan, usually the leader of a party which won the election, or somebody nominated by the respective winning parties. The Sultan, with advice from his council, will choose and endorse the suitable candidate.

The MB, in turn, appoints his exco, and there is no provision how many they are and what portfolio they hold. Exco members hold a term of 1 year of office. Little known fact is, the State Secretary and State Financial Officer from the State Civil Service are also part of the exco. It was also known that, during Dato Syed Nahar Shahabuddin's tenure as MB, the Pengarah Tanah & Galian was also an exco member to facilitate the many inquiries on land matters.

Unless it is by royal commission, or appointed by the MB, the Jawatankuasa Pemandu has no where to be placed in the state constitution.

Is the committee above the Sultan? Well, even pas members know well never to go there...unless they're contemplating suicide.

Is the committee above the MB? Only the Sultan is above the MB as he reports directly to the Sultan and take any advice from the Sultan without any buffers. Is the committee above the Exco? Exco is appointed by the MB and in no way, can have the committee in between.

So what if phahrolrazi and maybe one or two more do not agree with azizan? If 3 out of 10 disagree and the rest agree, what more do you want to say? You're out-voted. To have the committee referred to everytime one or two disagree with the MB will only lead to the state not having any progress at all...not that it has any in the first place.

So, how does phahrolrazi want to deny the powers stipulated by the state constitution? The committee will be political, not executive or administrative in any way whatsoever. So, what terms of reference will phahrolrazi bring if he tries to bring the committee into the picture? In fact, wouldn't it be downright rude and unworthy for anybody to usurp the power of the crown by placing themselves as the power to advice instead of the Sultan? Isn't it also unconstitutional to bring a group of people, elected or not, from this state or not, to interfere the running of the state? Kedahans will ask then who's running the state; the government they chose, or the sponsors who contributed to anwar's funds along with the massacre of palestinians?

How fair will the committee be? Even among pas' supporters, talks are rife that the Jawatankuasa Pemandu will be filled of anti-azizan members, hell-bent on ousting him from the seat. Plots have also been drawn to name azizan as the sacrificial lamb if pas loses Kedah in PRU-13. Even that doesn't really surprise me. In the hunt for power, and with anwar poking in from behind, do you think pas cares about Islam? That'll be the first thing that is thrown out the window.

Safe be said, Jawatankuasa Pemandu is unconstitutional, as stated by azizan. It has no place in the governance of the state nor does it have executive and administrative power. As many concluded, the committee is a ploy to sabotage the running of the state just because one or two key people who are pro-anwar LGBT pakatan disagree. Where is the democracy then?

Maybe phahrolrazi and his jewish-supporting pakatan cohorts should stop assuming that Kedahans are gullible and stupid. Never ever assume that, just because many Kedahans are from kampungs doesn't mean they have no idea what the constitution is all about?

For Kedahans, all of these events have the elements that mark the coming of change to Kedah. The demolitions, the destructions, the conspirings, the in-fightings and the hunger for power amongst pas leaders only serve as the catalyst to a countdown. Kedahans are ready for a change, and Gelombang Merah is coming with it.

Progress, No Demolitions Like Pas Kedah : Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir's Media Statement

While azizan and his excos are busy trying to demolish a historic 102-year old surau and replace it with a shopping centre on a waqf land bequeathed for a surau, and while phahrolrazi and his pro-israel pakatan erdogan group try to find new ways of destroying azizan's administration, here's something that even they might find as diverting.

Finally, progress that comes in without any demolition and far from breaching any condition on a waqf land. This media statement from YB Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir only goes to show how dedicated BN is especially in serving the needs of the people.

Kenyataan Media:
YB Dato' Mukhriz Mahathir Ahli Parlimen Jerlun

 Dato' Mukhriz Mahathir
 Ahli Parlimen Jerlun

It must've riled the state government to find that, despite their friendly name of pakatan rakyat, they find themselves becoming more of pakatan menentang rakyat when all they do is bicker amongst themselves and conspiring for power. As a result, the infrastructure of Kedah has been left in disregards: nobody fixing the damaged roads despite Federal's allocation of money, water supply is still bad at many places despite rates going 45% up and many more that pas never bothered to count. Perhaps trying to get that RM600million to anwar's campaign fund has become a priority over the people. Shame on you! Maybe phahrolrazi and his cohorts should take the money, roll them up, turn it up sideways and cram them up their candied...ummm...nose!

Pas Kedah: Everything's Okay Now....Riiightt!

I read a very interesting article by columnist on NST today, click here

Is Kedah in shambles? Let's see...

There were more speculations that became too much even for me. The bad blood between MB Azizan and the anwar-worshipping parasites of pas, headed by phahrolrazi came to a stronger head when he chided Amiruddin for accepting the exco position. The central pas decided to intervene for the sake of PRU-13. What...you actually thought the intervention was for the people of Kedah? Oh dear.

Supporters of azizan, phahrolrazi and ismail respectively were worried of what's going to happen. It was a strange situation as most coffee-shops and stalls are filled with people discussing on how bad the Kedah football team has gone down to. You're right, they don't really care. The worry was evident amongst the 3 pas stalwarts, and with the appearance of anwar's riders of apocalypse such as salahudin ayob, mahfuz and mat sabu led to the bubbling hot speculation that azizan will be ousted. However, the appearance of Haji hadi, more or less, calmed the situation. By the way, can somebody go and check the MB's Residence in Mentaloon? Mahfuz got lost on his way to the toilet again...

How long will azizan last on his throne before the usurpers come in with the ides of march? Well, nobody can say when, but from what is going on, it won't be that long maybe as phahrolrazi's faction is sharpening their daggers by now. His supporters are reportedly saying that there will be scandals exposed within these few weeks. Excellent...there's always excuses from doing their job. There'll be fire and brimstone, all coming from the parasite's faction. Imagine that, all of this, and UMNO is just sitting at home, watching, while having tea. Bloggers like Kedah La, under the hollow-headed saiburi sudin must be hiding inside a trench somewhere, his blog claimed that the issue between azizan and phahrolrazi is over despite pas supporters acknowledging otherwise. He has sheepishly turned to other issues such as attacking Tun Mahathir as other pakatan bloggers laugh at him.

It was an error of Haji hadi to send mat sabu in the first attempt to quell things down in Kedah. He is more suitable as somebody to calm things down in dewan muslimah, not at high-stakes power struggle. But the results, despite of failing to achieve any legitimate conclusion, were released by pas, that azizan remains and MB and phahrolrazi and ismail are to return as exco. It could be a pyrrhic victory for the ulama faction of pas, and it could be a burning amber for the anwarista-parasite of pas faction. Phahrolrazi, in a statement, said that he wants a body or a committee to oversee the decisions made by azizan and the administration of the state, also known as Jawatankuasa Pemandu. Really?

In theory, it was stated that Jawatankuasa Pemandu will assist and even monitor every aspect of the decisions made by the Menteri Besar. In short, the Menteri Besar has no power to administrate his own state.  It is even easier to sabotage, what with anwar's orders and instructions, which will lead to non-performance (well, not that they perform anything in the first place) and force the MB to quit. But in reality, the MB is not a position that a committee can stage a blockade. Despite its democratic origin and subject of a state's Ruler, he does have the executive power to decide. He has the right to accept or decline any advice given by the exco. The excos are appointed only to assist the MB and carry out the specific tasks and duties as detailed by their portfolio. To have the committee means, it is better to get rid of the excos and replace with the people in the committee. The committee is unconstitutional, but can be done only as non-executive. Safe to say, the committee will only bow to one person, and it's not azizan. Of course, a regime change will bring peace and stability in theory, but in reality, it brought destruction, years of fighting and your country being run by the New World Order.

By now, it is a common fact that Kedah has never been a conformed pakatan state since 2008. The hatred of Azizan towards anwar ibrahim is never a secret, and with anwar's pro-israel stand, the hatred has turned hostile. With azizan's statements that belittle anwar's status of the pakatan leader, the Jawatankuasa Pemandu suggested by phahrolrazi is one of the best tool to interfere azizan's running of the state. Well, azizan IS the MB and anwar cannot make him disappear like the others. Oh gee, do you think the committee will definitely disagree on demolishing a 102-year old surau and building a shopping complex on a waqf land? Who knows? So far, pigs have wings...yes, they flew to their new mega-home in Kuala Muda.

Look like, for the time being, anwar's attempt to wrest Kedah away from the ulama faction has met some temporary setback. But, with the setting up of Jawatankuasa Pemandu, he might be smacking his lips as he can finally exert some control on Kedah through his parasites. First through the committee, then through somebody who he can pull the strings. Yes, the dummy will be phahrolrazi.

Perhaps with the Jawatankuasa Pemandu, phahrolrazi can put things right what he once feel wrong. Maybe he can finally give the million-dollar projects that has been promised to cronies because azizan has been wrong to give projects to people with actual capability of carrying the tasks out.

At this point, anwar thinks that he has what he wants, Azizan feels that he has moulded the situation to what he needs...although he now has to put more eyes on the back of his head; phahrolrazi thinks he'll get what he lusts for. So, everything's good, right? Well, what about Kedahans? They never got anything so far; all the complaints made by Kedahans before and during the power struggle have so far been uncared for: the roads are still damaged, certain spots are still flooded with the unpredictable weather, water supply is still bad, the economy still stagnates, Kulim Hi-Tech is still spiralling downwards and many more.

The point? Well, while the pas buffalos are fighting to be the MB, Kedah still remain in ruins, at least we know where the priorities of the pro-Israel pakatan are. And where will Jawatankuasa Pemandu drive Kedah to? Most probably to anwar's New World Order. People of Kedah are the biggest losers in this struggle, they had hoped for something different when they chose pas over Barisan in 2008. Pas is definitely different, but not in the way people wanted it.

Pas Kedah: MB Azizan’s Year Of Living Dangerously

The worried business and commercial community yesterday heaved a sigh of relief after 8 exco members were sworn in with Azizan leading the way as the Menteri Besar of Kedah. Most of them were quite worried as there were speculations that the state government might be in limbo with certain exco members sabotaging the event. This did not happen, and the good news is, Kedah State Exco were retained while 2 opted not to accept. The bad news for pas is: the business community doesn’t care which party you are from, as long as somebody is there to sign, approve and validate their proposals and submission for projects, all can have their sighs of relief.

So what happened after all the big hullabaloo? It has been a very long open secret that there have been factions in Kedah pas, working so hard to oust Azizan from his post. Kedahans know too well that phahrolrazi was Azizan’s favorite successor, with Amiruddin, Taulan and the odious Mahfuz Omar also eyeing on how to wrest that seat away.

Despite interference by the jewish-supporting pakatan leaders, Azizan has proven that he is the enfant terrible of them all, by publically stating that he only obeys his leader, Haji Hadi, who is the President of Pas. (For full article, click here )

Somehow, with that statement and his explanation, many now believe that Azizan might suffer from the consequences of his own actions. He has, this time, slapped the butt-stabbing anwaristas of pas by not heeding what the other pakatan leaders have instructed. But Azizan has been well-known to Kedahans to be somebody who does not conform to any of the pakatan factions.

Haji Hadi and n.ajis were swiped by him at one time, when they were told to take care of their own state administration rather than interfere with his.

Azizan’s loath of anwar ibrahim was never disguised. He is one state-pakatan leader who never bothers to meet anwar at any time. Even when anwar visits Kedah, almost everybody in the audience notice how he never even turn to look at anwar, and even there were some who can feel the icy chill wind blowing between them. By now, many have already known of azizan’s many quips on anwar during the sodomy trials, such as “berani buat, berani tanggung la.”

Among his exco members, Azizan has always been known as “a mean old bully”, shouting and swearing his way to get things done. According to doctors, this is one of the major factors that lead him to be hospitalized every now and then. For a man who is diabetic, with high-blood pressure and a heart problem, being temperamental is not really a good way to relieve stress. I guess that is easier to diagnose than finding any traces of injury on this one self-proclaimed ustaz who claimed that he was beaten for 20 minutes by 20 men Anywho…most of his members have been known to stay away from him before and after exco meetings as nobody can stand him. Only 2 exco members, phahrolrazi and amiruddin can stand and tolerate his massive, ear-shattering, non-Islamic rantings. It has been very popular among the Wisma Darul Aman stewards to bet which exco gets shouted and sworn at during the weekly exco meetings. Who can ever forget the day when Azizan flared his temper and nostrils when a journalist asking, on behalf of the 2010 Kedah flood victims, about the failure of the Kedah pas State Government’s in helping them? That was legendary, and his rantings have become a staple of jokes with Kedahans…of course, it still cannot beat the jokes on mahfuz.

Among the matters that burns a deep anger in both anwar and his Kedah MB choice, mahfuz, is Azizan’s friendliness with Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad. It is no secret that Azizan, upon being appointed the Menteri Besar of Kedah, went to meet Tun Mahathir and sought his advice. Meeting a trusted leader and statesman of Malaysia (Tun Mahathir) for advice instead of seeking them from a PM-wannabe and self-proclaimed statesman (anwar)? Whoa!!! That’s sacrilege in the Israel-backing pakatan! Making things worse, Azizan presented Tun with Permanent LIFE Patron and First Insaniah-IRTI 2010 award, which picture was printed respectively in international media. Meanwhile, despite anwar’s non-stop meetings with his jewish and one-eyed counterparts, he keeps receiving rebukes, sodomy charges, sex-video allegations, rocks and fingers from Malaysians all over Kedah.

Phjahrolrazi, in a press conference yesterday has admitted that he has “problems with his boss. The friction, according to the former heir-apparent of the Kedah MB, has nothing to do with the speculation that he will oust Azizan and be the next MB. Azizan’s former blue-eyed boy even told the press that if he wanted to be the MB, he would’ve stayed in the exco, and is still willing to work with his boss if the situation calls on him. The admission was made calmly, although after the official press conference, the heat was turned on when Phahrolrazi met his supporters. (Click here for full report) What was a serene and melancholic atmosphere turned…ummm…choleric with shouts of “Let’s dig Azizan’s grave” and sorts. There were also complaints of Azizan giving more to UMNO entrepreneurs compared to Pas members, and many more. While they’re at it, I hope they can dig a few holes in garden as well as I really need to plant my vegetables…hey, as long as they are not digging anwar's ass, why not?!

Azizan knows that he cannot put his trust in everybody in his exco either. With 2 head factions, Amiruddin and Taulan in there, nobody knows for sure how long Azizan’s tenureship will last. Whiloe Amiruddin and Taulan can press and oust Azizan from the inside, meaning, legally, Phahrolrazi has a distant third with launching na coup within Kedah pas itself. Of course, in the last place, will be mahfuz, who is still fighting for a state assembly seat, in order to fight for the MB’s seat. Like most pas supporters, Kedahans share the same thought if mahfuz succeeds. Yes, it’s known as “God Help Us!”

The situation is currently very volatile within pas itself as pas kedah has been suffering by factional rifts, with the main factions of the ulamas, the professionals and the anwaristas, and within those factions, we have the rift within a rift of the Amiruddin, Taulan and Mahfuz factions respectively. The latest event has added another faction, which is the Phahrolrazi one, splintered from the Azizan faction. Many of these factions have vowed that they will bury Azizan if he runs in the next elections.

Even the pro-pas Kedah blogs have been treading this issue carefully, while some just simply label UMNO as the culprit behind the chaos. If anybody knows who Bashah is, I would say those who claimed it…well…must be lower in intelligence compared to mahfuz, but that’s it, there’s nowhere lower to go. The comfortably-officed and handsomely paid Kedah La Nie played safe by, although seemingly pointing out to Azizan’s administrational flaws, they were quick to deviate the issue into a PRU-13 rally. The other blog, Kedah La, with the mentally-blind Saiburi Sudin tried to downplay the whole issue, stating that there is no problems. Then again, it is the cock-crowing saiburi sudin with his turkey talk. Azizan’s statement must’ve blasted his feathers off.

Surrounded by those who can turn on him anytime, where will Azizan lead to in Kedah? Sure he abides with Hadi, but if Hadi tries to tell him something which is none of his business, Hadi might feel a kick up his backside…no, not from anwar. Although there are rumours that Azizan and Hadi are the 2 major proponents that are trying to lead pas away from the pro-Israeli pakatan. Azizan knows very well that anything can happen to him and cannot rely on all of his cohorts of eye-in-the-back assemblymen. Which way will Kedah be led with all the factions in pas Kedah?

With daggers and arrows being sharpened from many sides and corners, and some enemies unseen, Azizan is, or might as well be, left in the year of living dangerously.  Or is this the worldly retribution for his intent on demolishing a surau and building a shopping complex on a waqf land meant for a surau?

I guess the next election in Kedah will see, not UMNO against Pas, but a fight within pas itself.
